The Platt’s
From the rehearsal to the very end of the night, there was so much emotion woven into every part of their wedding. You could see just how much they loved each other in the way they looked at one another. It was the kind of love that didn't need a lot of words because you could feel it just by being around them.
One of the things that stood out most throughout the entire day was their family. From the rehearsal the night before to the final moments of the reception, it was so clear how much love and support surrounded these two. Their families were some of the kindest people, and you could tell that the love they shared went far beyond just showing up to celebrate. They genuinely cared for one another, wanted the best for each other, and were so excited to watch these two begin this next chapter together. There is something so special about being part of a wedding where the love between the couple is just as evident as the love surrounding them.
As the day unfolded, there were so many little moments that made it meaningful. The way they looked at each other, the emotion that came through during the ceremony, and the joy of having their favorite people all in one place made the entire day feel so personal. It wasn't just about celebrating a marriage. It was about bringing two people and the families who love them together to celebrate something that meant so much to everyone there.
Of course, the day had a little unexpected excitement when a storm rolled through about an hour before the ceremony. With the weather changing so close to the start, there were a few things happening behind the scenes as we watched for the rain to pass. Thankfully, the skies cleared just in time, and the rain held off for the rest of the night. But even with that little bit of uncertainty, what I remember most isn't the weather. It's how surrounded by love these two were and how everyone came together to make the day special for them.
Their wedding was such a good reminder of how much the people surrounding you can add to a wedding day. When you have family who genuinely loves you, supports you, and wants to see you happy, it makes the celebration feel even more meaningful. You could see that in the way everyone showed up for them, in the emotion throughout the day, and in the way their family celebrated right alongside them. Those are the kinds of things that make a wedding memorable long after the details have been packed away.
As a coordinator, I get to see so much happening behind the scenes, but being able to witness moments like these is one of my favorite parts of what I do. It's easy to get caught up in timelines, details, and making sure everything runs smoothly, but at the end of the day, it's the people and the relationships that make a wedding what it is. Getting to help create space for a couple to be fully present with each other and the people they love is something I will never take for granted.
From the emotion of the rehearsal to the very last moments of the reception, this wedding was filled with so much love. The way these two looked at each other, the kindness of their families, and the genuine support surrounding them made the entire day feel incredibly special. It was such an honor to be part of their story and to witness a celebration that was about so much more than just a wedding day. It was about love, family, and the beginning of a new chapter surrounded by the people who will continue to stand beside them for years to come.
